Simple NMEA 2000 Networking Guide Released

To coincide with the expansion of our NMEA 2000 Network Cabling range, Digital Yacht are pleased to publish an online guide to creating and installing an NMEA 2000 network. There are many good online guides, but they are mainly aimed at professional Dealers and Installers and go in to the real detail of NMEA 2000, which for many of us is too much information.

Our new guide aims to “cut to the chase” and focus on the key things that must be considered and included in any NMEA 2000 network. So if you are new to NMEA 2000 and have a few minutes to spare, please have a read of our new guide by clicking here.

For many installations, our popular NMEA 2000 Starter Kit is all that is needed, but as your NMEA 2000 network grows or for larger installations, our new expanded NMEA 2000 Cabling range will allow you to build any size of network required.

New additions to our range….

Please note that all Digital Yacht “Drop Cables” can also be used as Backbone cables and are easily connected together to make any length of backbone cable required.
