Digital Yacht Launches veLINK: The Wireless Bridge Between Victron Energy Products and NMEA 2000 Network

veLINK is a new Bluetooth wireless interface from Digital Yacht that links compatible Victron Bluetooth battery chargers, monitors, shunts, solar regulators and converters to your boat’s NMEA 2000 network.

Victron have become a market leader in electrical products and their secret has been to produce products for multiple markets such as marine, industrial and vehicles to get volume and value from their offering.

The marine market however needs specific interfacing requirements using the ubiquitous NMEA 2000 interfacing standard and that’s where Digital Yacht’s veLINK forms a connectivity bridge.

Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), veLINK connects wirelessly, eliminating the need for additional cabling and simplifying installation. veLINK is powered directly from the NMEA 2000 network, so installation is as easy as finding a spare network port and plugging it in.

Once connected, data is immediately available on your compatible multifunction display.

veLINK supports up to eight Victron devices. Users can configure individual network “instances” so each device appears separately on the multifunction display and can assign custom names for easy identification and monitoring.

Most importantly, any alarms that have been set on the Victron devices are relayed to the NMEA 2000 network for pop up alerts on compatible displays.

Come and check out veLINK at Boot Düsseldorf, Hall 10, Stand D16.
