We’re delighted to welcome Mirek Karczmarz to the Digital Yacht team as a brand ambassador for the Chicago and Great Lakes region.
Mirek, of course, is a boating and sailing enthusiast. He’s also an existing Digital Yacht customer and is based in Chicago. He comes from a technology background and his day-to-day job covers networking and sophisticated IT infrastructure so some would say a tech-nut navigating the high-C++!
Joking aside, these ambassador roles are a new innovation at Digital Yacht. He’ll be organizing local events, talks and demonstrations as required for Digital Yacht – acting as a local contact in the area. There’s a vibrant boating community and fantastic boating environment which needs to be supported, Local boating offers an unmatched view of Chicago’s world-famous skyline right from the beautiful Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. Beyond the city lights, sandy shorelines and peaceful open horizons are amazing for recreational boating.
Many regions we work in don’t necessarily have a Digital Yacht employee or representative, especially in areas like the Great Lakes as the whole industry tends to be coastal focused. Mirek brings a friendly Digital Yacht face to the sailing community in his region.
