We’re now shipping our CLA2000 IMO Approved Class A AIS transponder. It’s a single display solution, without cumbersome black boxes or junction units yet features three NMEA 0183 interfaces, NMEA 2000 and also wireless for tablet and iPad connectivity. It’s waterproof, compact and has a high bright 5″ colour display which can also become a charting system with optional C-Map mapping.
Class A AIS is mandated on all vessels over 300 GRT but increasing numbers of small workboats and offshore recreational yachts are choosing a Class A for satellite tracking and more regular position updates for improved safety and reliability.
