AT&T, the large US mobile network operator, recently announced that they would be switching off their 3G service, so that they could improve and focus ongoing investment on their 4G and 5G networks.
This has had an impact on many AT&T users, some of whom have had to upgrade to new phones. When we heard this news, we immediately tested our 4G Connect and 4G Xtream products to ensure that they would continue to work. The good news is that they will, but in order to stay connected, existing AT&T users must upgrade the firmware in their unit, before the 3G service is shut down later this month.
4G Xtream
Updating of our latest 4G Xtream product is very straight forward, using the unit’s new web interface and the latest firmware update V07.01.02 can be downloaded from the link below….

4G Connect + 4G Connect Pro
For our 4G Connect product, which has the original web interface, it is necessary to do a two stage update; first to V01.14.05 and then to the new V07.02.08. It is not possible to go directly from an older version to the new version in one step. The two updates can be downloaded from the links below….
