AIS for HMS Queen Elizabeth

HMS Queen Elizabeth is the largest and most powerful vessel ever constructed for the Royal Navy. This awe-inspiring warship is capable of carrying up to 40 aircraft and carries an array of sophisticated electronic technology including a specialist Digital Yacht AIS monitoring solution.

HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH

The BBC have just aired a great new TV series called “Warship” which details life aboard and operations so it was nice to see a special version of our AISNET installed prominently on the bridge.

This version of AISNET is a super sensitive AIS receiver which incorporates an ethernet interface for getting data into on board and cloud networks. It also features encryption so data can be encoded and reliably and safely transmitted across networks. The same sophisticated technology is used in all our consumer AIS transponders and receivers too.
