We will have a demo of our new Njord Cloud and AI platform which allows comprehensive remote viewing of your boat data including navigation, engine, electrical, tanks and NMEA 2000 network diagnostic data. This coupled with a powerful Gemini based AI platform also brings advanced weather and tide information as well as port information at your current and destination ports. This is available in real time either onboard or ashore.
The ability to remotely view NMEA 2000 network data will allow for technicians to remotely diagnose faults and the Njord platform allows secured levels of access so a boat builder can view a fleet of boats without necessarily having access to personal data. Njord Cloud can also build a suggested maintenance schedule based on engine hours and boat type and age thanks to powerful AI research. AI Captain is a chat bot feature which allows you to ask specific questions on boat status by voice or text, with the BOT using boat data to refine highly detailed answers
All that is required on board is NjordLINK Plus. Priced at £300/400€ ex VAT, it connects direct to the boat’s NMEA network so is compatible with all leading brands of navigation and monitoring system as well as engines. It can connect to Wi-Fi, 4G/5G or Starlink networks so there’s no requirement for an additional airtime plan
