Royal Institute of Navigation Conference a Success

The Royal Institute of Navigation (Small Craft Group) conference on Electronic Navigation took place this week and our CTO Paul Sumpner was one of the speakers.

Open to RIN members, non-members and students, the conference took place in the historic library of Trinity House in London and included a series of speaker sessions throughout the day, with chances to meet and talk to the speakers during the lunch and refreshment breaks.

Speakers from a number of organisations and backgrounds including; Trinity House, UKHO, Raymarine, Navionics, Garmin, Pocket Mariner, Bath University and of course Digital Yacht, made it a really interesting day for the 90+ attendees who all shared a common interest in electronic navigation.
