The best marine apps for iPhone & iPad
We have just updated our list of best marine apps for iPhone & iPad to include new apps such as Aqua Map, C-Map, iRegatta 2, qtVLM, Weather4D. We have also updated the apps functionalities like the functionality to display AIS targets on Navionics.
This list only includes apps that can be used with our NMEA to WiFi servers or AIS products with built-in WiFi. As long as the App you are interested in has a tick in the “External NMEA” column then it will work with our wireless NMEA products. Then, the app will display in real time your instruments and/or AIS data. A list of our NMEA to WiFi servers and AIS transponders with WiFi is shown below.
We are fairly confident that we have captured most of the popular apps currently available. However, if you are a user or developer of a good marine navigation app for iOS that is not on our list, please let us know and we will get you on the list at the next update.
